Day 285: Feb 7th of the home improvement project was a short
day on the work site because Rich and Kevin needed to spend time
on their other job. The electricians came this morning and ran a new power line for the furnace. The old one was nicked and also was preventing hanging drywall around the bedroom door. Once rewired then Rich and Kevin finished hanging the remaining drywall. Rich installed corner beads. Kevin started applying mud to cover up screws and worked on seams. More next week! After everyone left I spent a couple of hours vacuuming all over the basement. The drywall dust gets on shoes and gets brought upstairs. I was hoping vacuuming would solve that problem. It didn't. The basement floor looks clean, but obviously it isn't. I have started putting on different shoes at the bottom of the stairs before coming up. That seems to be working. |
