Day 283: On Feb 5th of the home improvement project drywall
installation started. It was a cold day to carry all those
sheets of drywall into the basement. A lot of progress was
made, but there is still more to do. In my wanderings around the basement I realized that we needed another heater vent over by the crawl space door. That space is quite large and only had one vent. Rich called Rob about it. Jason was able to come over in the morning and did the metal work to install another vent. With all the insulation and drywall in place the temperature in the basement has really stablized. The thermometer I have down there said it was 68 degrees. It used to be around 59 so things are a lot more comfortable. |
