2024 12 20 - Installing dishwasher

Day 236: On Dec 20th of the home improvement project the dishwasher was finally installed! I ordered it from BestBuy on Oct 4th. The website gave Oct 24th as the delivery date... Nope! It finally came in on Dec 8th and I picked it up on Dec 9th. The installation was then scheduled for Dec 20th, and here we are! It's done!

Installing the dishwasher was the last item to finish off the main floor of the home improvement project. The basement will be finished starting in January. So for now we have a breather to enjoy the holidays. We're still organizing things and settling in, but it's wonderful.

I should point out that we haven't had a dishwasher for 5 years. That's when our old one broke. I don't know that I really want to start using a dishwasher. For the last 5 years Joyce and I have listened to audio books together while we hand wash dishes. I really like that.
